This image demonstrates how to complete the Batting Line-up in the scorebook.

The details are transfered form the Team Sheet provided by the coach of each team ,
- hopefully, well before the game starts so that you can fill in the scorebook.

In this example, Batter 7, GABLE,Giavanni is playing as a "DH" or Designated Hitter for the Pitcher.
The pitcher, JACKSON,Jay, is listed after the 9 batters because he does not bat.
But the pitcher may have "Fielding Stats"recorded in the area to the to left of their name.
If the pitcher does bat - as in most junior teams - list them in the appropriate batting position.
However, the pitcher is also always listed below the Batting/Pitchers areas
so that their pitching stats can be recorded in the area to the right..

In some junior games in which all 12 players bat, just list the batters in order
with "Bench" behind the name of those players that are not playing in the field in defence.
If they move into a fielding position, just indicate their position in the "POS" column and when it happened.
Cross out "Bench" on the new fielder and add it to the player moved to the bench.
